    Kubuntu20.04 apt-get update error

basically, I'm a super noob to Kubuntu, and when I go to update using Sudo apt-get update. I get the following code:

    ~$ sudo apt-get update
    Ign:1 cdrom://Kubuntu 20.04.1 LTS _Focal Fossa_ - Release amd64 (20200731) focal InRelease
    Err:2 cdrom://Kubuntu 20.04.1 LTS _Focal Fossa_ - Release amd64 (20200731) focal Release
Please use apt-cdrom to make this CD-ROM recognized by APT. apt-get update cannot be used t
    o add new CD-ROMs
    Hit:3 http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu focal InRelease
    Hit:4 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal InRelease
    Get:5 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal-updates InRelease [114 kB]
    Hit:6 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal-backports InRelease
    Get:7 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal-security InRelease [109 kB]
    Reading package lists... Done
    E: The repository 'cdrom://Kubuntu 20.04.1 LTS _Focal Fossa_ - Release amd64 (20200731) focal
Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely and is therefore disabled by defau
    lt.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Do you have muon installed? If so, open muon and then open the repository. It will look like this:

Notice that the CDROM is not checked. If your's is then uncheck it and click the close button.
Otherwise, open /etc/apt/sources.list with nano and put a "#" in front of the cdrom line.

If you don't have Muon installed, you can get to this from Discover, via Settings, then look for Software Sources.
