[SOLVED] Kubuntu 20.04 Desktop Trash Icon

I installed Kubuntu 20.04 onto my new computer, fresh install, and the desktop isn't displaying the Trash Icon. I have the desktop in "Folder View", but the icon doesn't show up even as "Desktop View". I tried to link Trash from Dolphin File Manager onto the desktop, but it doesn't let me "empty trash" it just opens the trash directory.

Is this a feature of 20.04? Or is there something I can do to get the trash icon back in this new version?

    Thank you for your help

From Dolphin, just drag the Trash icon from the Places panel to the desktop.
