a stop job is running for wpa supplicant

    hey guys, i'm a kubuntu 20.04 user.
for some reason, since the last 2-3 times i've shut down my computer it takes +5 minutes to actually shutdown. pressing "esc" shows this:

this goes for at least 5 minutes until it finally shuts down, also showing this:

i've read about it online: this seems to be a common issue. this workaround ( https://unix.stackexchange.com/quest...ion-c2-of-user ) doesn't seem to address the real problem. is there a fix for this? this hasn't been an issue before (been using kubuntu for +6 months now), all my packages are up to date.
please let me know if you need me to show some outputs; i really don't know what to do here. thanks!!

Hi @plexure. Sorry no one's replied yet, but it's probably because, like me!, they're stumped. I've never seen that before, so I'm afraid I'm of no help at all!

So does that workaround work for you? Or it does, but you're looking for an actual solution?
