Canon Maxify MB2720 Printer prints only one page

I just replaced my defunct printer with a Canon Maxify MB2720 AIO printer. Kubuntu found the printer right away on Ethernet and installed the driver. All functions seem to work except it won't print more than the first page of a multi-page document. My workaround is to select each page after the first one and have it print the individual page. I just checked my wife's Win 10 machine and it printed a two page job singly and in duplex so, it looks to me like the linux driver is the problem. Any suggestions?

My previous printer, a Canon Pixma MX-922, needed the TurboPrint driver because the standard linux driver didn't support the print on CD/DVD function. Now, I have procured a new copy of TurboPrint so that I can use the basic task of printing a multi-page document. Whoever is writing printer drivers for linux simply does not do a thorough job.
