    [Post-Install] GUI frezes for a few seconds when installing a DEB

    Hello all,
    Sometimes, I install an app using a DEB file.
    For example, I install LibreOffice, I install VirtualBox (virtualbox-7.2_7.2.8-173730~Ubuntu~noble_amd64.deb)

    Is it just me or that does the GUI hang sometimes for 1 s, 5 s, 40 s and such. The mouse doesn't move during these hands.
    I play video using Firefox and the video hangs but the sound plays.

    It is as if I have 1 core CPU.

    But, when I do updates using Discover, the GUI seems to be fine.

    I have a Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz, 6c/12t
    AMD Radeon RX6800 16 GB
    I have enough RAM, lot of free space. I have 24 GB DDR4 3200 MHz.
    OS=Kubuntu 24.04 CPU=Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz L3 = 32 MB RAM=24 GB
    GPU=AMD RX 6800 16 GB
    HDD=It's not 1 TB. It's 931 GB. Do the math!
    For Ubuntu/Kubuntu, get rid of the Spectre crap mitigations to get full CPU performance.Run lscpu. Notice the lines starting with Vulnerability. Do you have the word "mitigation". That's bad. Edit the file /etc/default/grub. You might find the line that says
