[Desktop] Events in the date display?

There’s an ‘Events’ section in the date display on the control bar. Can you display your appointments from Google Calendar there?

You need to install kdepim-addons, then enable calendar events in the clock widget's settings, under the Calendar section.

Then you need to install KOrganizer to add the Google Calendar(s) you want: right-click on the blank white box on the bottom left of the window that may list a birthday and a personal calendar and select Add Calendar, then Google Groupware. You may need a reboot or logout after installing Korganizer if you get an error when opening it.

Then you should be able to go back to the clock settings and select the calendars.

Try using the Password that you use when signing into your desktop.

Do you mean your Kwallet password? A keyring reference is usually associated with Gnome's ....keyring and should not normally be used by KOrganizer on a KDE system, so I am just checking.

A different one from what?

Normally, the OS is set up to use your login password as your kwallet password, and it is unlocked automagically when you log in.
but this gets broekn if you change your user password, or enable autologin.

You can change your Kwallet password in System Settings >> KDE Wallet >> Launch Wallet Manager
