Even though I have X11 installed on my laptop: HP Pavilion g7 (15 years old or so??); I'm using Wayland without any issues. That wasn't the case in the early development of Wayland.
Windows no longer obstruct my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

Just for any one on an older Nvidia card. That update caused a great amount of work because of that. Couldn't really determine what until I asked an AI if my model card was the culprit. It stated definitely. Going to nouveau fixed that issue. I agree on sticking with Wayland, but be warned about older video cards and how they may not work as intended.

I'm not overly fond of Wayland. X11 remembered where you put things on your desktop and didn't default to just chucking everything in the middle of your screen. I did have to switch sessions to get MPV media player to work as it doesn't seem to like X11 but then Simple Screen Recorder doesn't like Wayland, not that I use (or I should say used) it that often.
Still it is far better than Jammy Jellyfish, which is appropriately named.

pffft ok back on X11... Haruna started acting up and crashing every now again , wasn't in the mood to troubleshoot **** that worked perfectly normal under X11 (for me)

so ya , i'll stay on X11 till it completely dies lol
