[Post-Install] No updates since racoon install ?

I installed the racoon from scratch shortly after the official release and it went well and everything works .
What seems odd is I have not seen a single update for anything KDE related since the install .
Could I be missing something apt config wise ?

The name of the thread should better have been sth. like "No updates for [KDE Plasma/Frameworks/Applications] since racoon install" as there have been several updates for other packages since the official release.

As Kubuntu 26.04 is an LTS release there will probably be only few updates for "KDE stuff".

    Solutions?
Either use the Kubuntu Backports PPA (e.g. see: KDE Plasma 6.6.5 available in Kubuntu Backports)
    or
update to Kubuntu 26.10 immediately when is is released in October (and repeat every 6 months).

If you always want to have the newest "KDE stuff", Kubuntu LTS is not the best distro to use. Choose something like Arch or openSUSE Tumbleweed (so-called "rolling releases") instead.

    PS: your configuration is fine.

important things to do after installation (24/26.04)get rid of Snap script (20.04 +)
install traditional Firefox script (22.04 +) • install traditional Thunderbird script (24.04 +)
