To start, I'll say that I didn't reset my .config folder as the patch notes recommend (By the way, why? They mention not resetting it causes breakage, but why is this not something that could be handled automatically in the upgrade process? I don't want to have to reset my entire .config just because my OS needs an update.)
I ran into some issues like icon scaling being slightly larger than before. Irritating, but livable. Not something I was able to fix though. However, what I cannot deal with is when I use my computer, and after a while of using it, the screen goes full gray, and there's corruption at the bottom of the screen. None of my inputs do anything to fix this, but audio keeps working, so I believe it's a GPU issue. Only goes back to normal upon reboot, and even that is only temporary. I'm using an Nvidia Ampere GPU.
Anyone know why this is happening? I'd hate to have to do a fresh install because of this. Frankly, I'm not sure why the maintainers enabled upgrading to begin with when there were known issues with configuration.
