    [Post-Install] 25.10 to 26.04 LTS completed

Upgrade took 2 hours and 55 minutes on my HP Pavilion g7 laptop without any hiccups. After the reboot, everything is working fine so far.

why almost 3hrs, mine took like 45min. (and my lappy is ancient)
does it depend on whatever/how much stuff you have on PC?
also , did mine through terminal , IMO always faster ?
    just curious

All depends on the download speed of ones connection to the Internet. We don't have "high-speed" here at our place.

IME the downloads don't have the major contribution to the time of a release upgrade, it's the number and nature of the packages to be updated, as some packages take a while.

And the speed and capabilities of ones CPU have a significant impact.

I can't even get fiber where I'm at. Consider yourself lucky. I can't even reach quarter of GB speed. (150 mbs max)

LOL -- here in Colombia they have been working to make the backbone faster than the original 300 Mbps. I think we are up to 600 ATM.
