[Post-Install] just upgraded

so eventually got a notification that an upgrade to 26.04 is available
ran

sudo apt update

sudo apt full-upgrade​

and

sudo do-release-upgrade

in terminal
all and all took about 45min.
all seems good for now , i'll see how it goes
only thing i don't get ,i'm still on X11? (happy bout it though)

X11 is still supported, just not installed on a 'new' installation, so if you were using X11 before the upgrade, it will remain. (I believe that to be 100% true)
