[Software] KVM/QEMU under Kubuntu 26.04 failed

Today, 01:47 AM

On Kubuntu 26.04, I can’t install a Windows 11 VM using KVM/QEMU. As soon as the Windows prompt appears saying “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD…”, the installation freezes.
There were no issues with the 1:1 procedure on 25.10

It is installing fine here using the version 25H2 iso I have, using virt-manager.

Self-built: Asus PRIME B550M-K/Ryzen 5600GT/32Gb/Intel ARC B580 12Gb/KDE neon
HP Elitedesk 800 G3 Mini: i5-7500T(35w)/32Gb/Kubuntu LTS
HP Chromebook 14: i5-1135G7/8Gb/512Gb SSD/KDE Linux
