[Hardware] Mounting external disks automatically on startup

I happen to use more than one external disk. When I start the system in Kubuntu 26.04, the external Hard Disks are not automatically recognized. So if I try to do any operation without mounting them separately they're not accessible.

My question then is: Is there a way for the system to recognize and mount external disks as the system starts? Is there some security issue with it?

Search in System Settings for auto-mount.

Wow, this one was great! It also makes sense to be able to set it to auto by choice rather than as a default.
