[Hardware] GPU on Youtube

If I play a YouTube video in Kubuntu on my Lenovo ideaCentre Mini, the GPU in the system monitor remains at 0, so it is not used. Is this normal, or can I do something about this?

What gpu do you have ? it could be that while it works fine, the gpu usage isnt detected.

Yes, this can be normal — depending on what your system monitor shows. But often hardware video decoding is happening even if GPU shows 0%.
This is especially common on low-power mini PCs like your Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini
it also depends on what browser you using?
