[Post-Install] Application Window not following "Window Rules"

I am new to Kubuntu, this is my first post and and I’m trying to setup my system. If you need any of info, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

    Kubuntu Version:
    Kunbuntu 25.10

    Desktop Environment
    KDE Plasma 6.4.5

    Problem Description:
    Windows Rules -
1 - A side note first while I reading other posts for issues with Window Rules my screens to create window rules are not the same as every post and DuckDuckGo AI search I’ve done. Not sure why but I figured out how to accomplish the same thing as the posts are doing with the screens available in my “System Settings | Windows Management | Window Rules”. The screen shot below is what my window rule looks like.
2 - The main issue is the app windows in this case dolphin doesn’t want to follow the rule and open on my secondary monitor. I have two screens and I’m trying to have Dolphin open on my right (non-primary screen). I have tried all the “force, apply initially, apply now, etc.” spelling of dolphin with caps, etc.
3 - The other big mystery is the screen number, what goes here? I’ve tried 0-3. Is 0 the primary?

I was thinking of upgrading the Plazma to 6.5, any thoughts?

    Example:
window rule window rule1288×848 147 KB

Unfortunately, as far as I can tell from trying to do the same thing, the "Screen" option simply doesn't work under Wayland. I would love to be proved wrong!

I could do so quickly, if I were at my PC

What you should do to start, is tom use the Detect Window Properties button to get the basic parameters for Dolphin. Do this with the window in the desired location.
Click on the items with checkmarks to add them., there should only be two or so.
What you should get is the top 4 items seen below:

Then add the screen option, as you have done.
Make yours look like mine above, trying the different numbers. The description of course can be whatever you like. The correct screen might be one of the options that are checked when detecting the properties, so that might help.

I *think* this is accurate, but I am on my laptop right now, away from my PC.

Much of the images you see are probably for Plasma 5.
Plasma 6 does look different, but I think the actual steps and options needed are the same

I can verify this, but it will be later. Maybe tomorrow.

Plasma 6.5 is a bit better than 6.4.5, but it will be identical in this area.

OK, I stand (sit?) corrected...it works just fine now! I could swear it didn't work when I initially tried it (months ago) (and I definitely had the settings correct--forcing maximized horizontal & vertical and display on all virtual desktops was working just fine, just not forcing to a specific screen). FYI, I'm still on 25.04 (with Plasma 6.4.5), haven't found the time to upgrade to 25.10 yet.

these can be major PITAs. Getting one window set to a certain size and location, without making that app's settings window use the exact same rule is very annoying.
