[System] Very long boot to Desktop appearance time

Granted, my laptop is ancient: HP Pavilion g7, 4 x Intel® Core™ i3 CPU M380 @ 2.53GHz, 8 GiB of RAM; but the time from power on to the Desktop takes a VERY long time.

Would appreciate a look at both files and get your observations/suggestions on what I might do to reduce the time it is taking.

I don't see an immediate cause, but *everything* is taking ages. No one thing seems to be a cause, even the critical chain looks ok, in relation to the overall time things are taking.

Is this a spinning rust HDD? That's the first thing I'd look at. Maybe it's just slowing down from old age?

      Why, yes, it is.

But it didn't used to take this long. If you don't see anything that jumps out at you, I'm perfectly fine. I don't generally power the laptop off; it is one of three PCs in my office, and I keep it on, as I do the other two. Two of them get logged out and put to sleep. My iMac just has the screen turned off.

I don't think it is normal, tbh. But maybe it needs a filesystem check or health check.
