[SOLVED] Upgrade to 25.10 & apt installed packages

While I was using 25.04 I installed quite a few applications using the apt command, which I would always update using konsole. However, after I updated to 25.10, using the sudo apt update command doesn't seem to be fetching updates from all of the repositories that I installed on 25.04 even though I still have the applications themselves on the computer. It basically just seems like Konsole doesn't look for updates for said applications anymore. Not sure if I should add them all again, or?

Check in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ and see if only the Ubuntu source remained.

Where any of these 'third-party' PPA's? If 'yes', those would have been commented so not be executed during the upgrade. If those PPA's are valid with 25.10, reinstall them.

Yes, they were third party PPA's. This is the first time I've ever done an upgrade like this. In the past I've always done a fresh install and started over, but I didn't feel like redoing everything again this time so I did the upgrade.

So, when I did the upgrade, third party PPA's don't transfer over, correct? Also, do I need to delete the programs that acquired through the PPA's and reinstall them or do I just need to add the PPA's again? Thanks

Yeah, I'm working on that. Is there an easy way to figure out which programs I installed through PPA? Or a command that would list the programs not getting updated now? If that makes sense to you...
