Apparently a GUI bug. Have you tried upgrading on the command line?

Using the command given as a workaround? This is the exact bug the tray applet gives.

I thought that 25.04 had past EOL, because I apparently can't add or read a calendar!

Now, it hasn't gone any further than this, so it seems to have crashed.

No, it finally put up the empty box.

The command to start it manually is working.
Mine doesn't go further than this.

Rebooting just worked this time. I just noticed this thread is in the wrong forum. I thought I pressed 25.10, but I was on my phone, so my fat finger might have missed the small link. Please move it to 25.15/post install. Thanks.

No change. The gear icon turns for about 2 seconds then everything hangs.

I get all the way to the Plasma splash screen then it hangs. Waiting a while doesn't change anything . I tried bring up a console session but there doesn't seem to be any keyboard response . No mouse cursor. I am going to try resetting the power and rebooting.

I ran discover to check for updates and found the devs finally added the fix to the repos. I am now running the update. It says my screen lock needs to be disabled, but I checked, and it is already disabled. Can I continue, or have I run into a bug?

You *can* try either the command line version, or manually pull up the tool correctly (to avoid the bug) as mentioned in the Discourse page, as well as the release notes
To be clear, I am upgrading from 25.04 to 25.10, not 24.04 to 25.04. I said this in no.7. Perhaps you missed that post?

Does anyone have any idea how long it might take to fix this? I just tried again, and it still fails. Is there a workaround to get this working? It might just be a depreciation in the upgrader program.

OH, did I put it in the wrong place? Then please move it. I just tried again, so just letting you know it is still not working in case you thought it was fixed.
