Contacts in Kontact - no auto completion

    Hi There,

I have a bunch of contacts in my 'Address Book' under Contacts. But If i compose a new email and start typing the name or email address of the receipent, the Address Book doesn't seem to be the source of auto completion but only where i have sent emails before from KMail. How can I link the KMail auto completion to my Address Book containing my contacts?

Thank you for hints or suggestions!

See HOWTO Configure KDE and Akonadi so it just works

Happy to assist. I suffered for awhile until I got it figured out. That my experience might help others avoid, or at least limit the duration of their own suffering, is what that HOWTO was put together for.

Yes, I get this. I've been trying out different things too but never got rid of the Akonadi errors. So I'm happy they are gone and the auto completion works as well. Now do you by any chance know of something to filter out duplicate contacts?
