I just bought a notebook Dell inspiron N4010. I am looking for an advice which version of Kubuntu that will give me least problem during installation. Many thanks.

Your WIRED ethernet connection may not work, but here is a fix:

The touchpad problem has been fixed in Maverick: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/lu...ux/+bug/551234 Maverick is the next release of Kubuntu.
Other than those two problems I didn't see anything else that gave folks problems.
