RESOLVED: Can not edit existing presentation with ooimpress

I have never managed to open an Open Office presentation that someone sent me without it's immediately starting the presentation and, when I clicked to finish, exiting Open Office. Impossible to edit the file under these circumstances!

What is the trick I am missing?

Do you distinguish the difference between PPS files (just a presentation) and PPT files (can be edited) ?

Didn't know there were such things. I renamed it and it works!

Thanks a lot. But why the hell do they do that?

I thought they were different, pps something like read only pdf and ppt saved source.
So the reason is obvious, to have read only file for viewing, even for somebody, who doesn't know how to start presentation.
        I am glad rename helped.
