Yes, those are also the steps I follow, but Audio CD never appears in the Left pane, only local collection on hard disk. If I try to select it manually through menus at the top of the screen ("Amarok", "Playlist"), after clicking on the Audio CD icon the application seems to be thinking forever and forever... (the pointer icon remains "rolling") but no file appears.
I don't understand this, it is the first time since I've been using kubuntu (Gutsy release).
