Just switched from Gnome to Kde. Can not take screen shot of cube, in gnome all I had to do was hit print screen, in Kde nothing come up.

I have Ksnapshot under Graphics. YMMV

That works for me in Kubuntu Lucid testing.

In Kubuntu use Menu/Applications/Graphics/Screen Capture Program Set the delay for a few seconds, I use 15, then setup your shot, sit back and wait. See screenshot with this window on the right.
