Kdevelop 3.5.5

I've installed KDevelop 3.5.5 using the repo's from the kdevelop.org website but it seems like the project configuration and settings dialogs are missing. My project is a complex qmake project and I don't have time to convert it to cmake for KDevelop4 (plus there are things about kdev4 that i don't like).

Is anybody else having trouble running kde 3 apps in karmic?
