    Re: User Management Module Broken

    Just installed 9.10 Beta, upgraded and now have this same problem. Hope it gets fixed before the release next week?

    Re: User Management Module Broken

    Hmm yes, doesn't work right now.

    Ah well it's a Unix so user management is rather important and it'll be fixed soon.

    The error I get:
    The service user management offers no interface 'kcmodule' with the keyword 'userconfig/userconfig.py'

    A suggestion given is an upgrade error leaving behind an old configuration module.
    My set up is an upgrade from 9,04

      Until it gets fixed, you can install and use 'kuser' to manage users/groups

        The python is at now a bit broken (kde bindings ?) > http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3106999.0

        So the applications that are using the python are a bit broken:

        gdebi-kde
        Traceback (most recent call last):
        File "/usr/bin/gdebi-kde", line 32, in <module>
        from PyKDE4.kdecore import *
        ImportError: No module named kdecore
        kcmshell4 userconfig:
        Traceback (most recent call last):
        File "/usr/share/kde4/apps/userconfig/userconfig.py", line 32, in <module>
        from PyKDE4.kdecore import *
        ImportError: No module named kdecore

        Two weeks to the release.
