Have the ppa8 4.4 packages solved all the issues?

Gosh, I just don't find myself with the time to deal with booting into black screens these days, but still am drooling over a new KDE release... has anyone found that the latest updates to teh 4.4 packages have solved all the early update problems? I see there are plenty of ppa2 and ppa8 packages now... and have been for a couple days...

I've run 4.4 without great trouble since rc1.

Yes there were intermittent plasma crashes but most of the time it would come back up by itself.
Because this week I didn't have a good connection I could only do the latest updates (235MB) last night and until now it's been working sweet.
