    best way to clean my grub loader boot menu

    I am a new bee to unix trying to figure out best and easy way to clean my boot menu which shows almost 8 lists I need only one unix and one windows on boot menu

    I tried with kgrubeditor but not able to install its hard for a new bee what to do

    experts please help me install file is like a hell alot of exeptions on cMake command please help me

    thars a esear way than trying to compile your own package.....

    you should keep the entry's for recovery and memtest but the old Kernels can be removed just keep the newest and I allwase keep at least 1 more but............just open your packagmanager and seartch for and remove the oldest Kernels kernel-headers and kernel-moduals........it may run update-grub for you when you do that but if not after removing the old kernels open a terminal and run
    Code:
    sudo update-grub
    and your boot list will be cleard out some

      Thanks for your reply. I am seeing the package manager synaptic

      but I am not sure what to searcg excatly and what to delete how can I get those names ? please help me
