The live CD allows you to try Kubuntu Netbook Edition without changing your computer at all, and at your option to install it permanently later. This live CD is optimized for netbooks with screens up to 10". You will need at least 256MB of RAM to install from this CD.

Does this distro run also on Asus Eee PC 1101HA with 11.6" screen (16:9 and 1366x768) ?

I haven't tried it, but I think it should work. Basically, that sentence is just saying that they designed it to work well with small screens - but that's no reason it won't work with a larger screen.

The best way is just to boot from the Live CD and see how it goes. It only takes 2 minutes and you've lost nothing if it doesn't work.
