lenovo thinkpad sl510

Hi,
I´m new to linux. Am going to try Kubuntu 9.10, have notebook Lenovo thinkpad sl510, and have question about drivers - are they already in the fresh installation, or have i download it from somewhere, and basic question - are they done or not?

Just download or obtain the LiveCD of Karmic Koala 9.10. Load it into your CD drive and boot. If you are able to boot from the LiveCD, get to a working Desktop, have working sound, and can connect to the Internet, then you can reasonably expect that the actual installation will be successful - that what worked running from the LiveCD, will also work from the PC after installation.
