How To Enable Nepomuk/Strigi Desktop Search in Kubuntu 9.10/KDE4.3

There is apparently a packaging 'error' that prevents Strigi from running when activating Desktop Search (K > System Settings > Advanced > Desktop Search). Google to the rescue.

How To Enable Nepomuk/Strigi Desktop Search in Kubuntu 9.10/KDE4.3 clearly identifies the issue and what to do to fix it. I followed it, and it worked exactly as stated. I now have Desktop Search enabled and fully working.

Edit: The Subject and the Link both refer to Kubuntu 9.10, but I'm running Jaunty 9.04, and the packaging error exists here also, so the instructions apply.
