Following instructions to an earlier post I managed to change the entire look of my Kubuntu. The desktop at startup for example is a load of grey and white squares about 1x1cm. There are no widgets and right clicking does nothing. The toolbar at the bottom is a metalic grey that looks awful. The box where the volume control and open packages are displayed is empty.
Something has gone wrong. Can anyone suggest something I could try to get things back to normal?
