    Kernel and Firefox update

    Hi

Today I had a notification of updates for FF and kernel.

The FF update was to 3.5 version and the kernel for the 2.6.28.14, but after de update with the command sudo apt-get dist-upgrade, the version of FF is 3.0.11 and kernel is the 2.6.28.11...

Checked for new updates and there is none... What happend??

    Thanks

FF3.5 may be called "Shiretoko" and is installed next to, not over, FF3.0.11

You will need to reboot for the kernel to change.

If the FF 3.5 notification came from Firefox, you're not automatically going to have 3.5 installed -- you have to install it:

Hmm... given that the Firefox update feels a bit overdue, I wouldn't be at all surprised if these changes are due to be pushed out in the next few days and they showed up accidentally for a brief window.

              Hi

On my laptop, I have updated Kernel and FF.

Kernel updated OK to version 2.6.28.13, but FF continues with 3.0.11 version, even after the update from Kpackage..

              Waiting for the "latest development"...
