audio issue

    audio issue

    I can no longer hear sound on my system. I have tried to test my intel audio controler and get an error and when I attempt to launch Kmix it never launches. Any advice out there

    With this and the boot problem you are having, I would be tempted to do a complete re-install. Hopefully you made a separate partition for /home. If you didn't, now would be a perfect time to do it. Good luck

      After or when doing the clean install how do I ensure that /home is its own partition

        If you didn't set it up with a separate /home when you installed, then it doesn't have one. See this link for help on this subject. http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/separatehome
