Does anyone know if this is a dead project?

http://www.simonzone.com/software/guarddog/#log seems to indicate that no work has gone on since 2007. I notice that when changing rules within Guarddog, warnings are being generated that seem to indicate soon the app will be obsolete>

Because of some else with a question about Guarddog I installed it yesterday.
I was able to get all my connections working and so far I've not found any issues with it, including no suggestion it's about to expire.

It's probably a matter of "Don't fix what ain't broken".
