How do I reset the panel at the bottom to original configuration?

I accidentally removed the panel and now I can't get it back to the way it was. I'm a noob to Kubuntu. I got the panel to reappear at the bottom, but none of the widgets will go where they were before.

    Which widgets are those?

    Have you tried:
right click on panel->unlock widgets->configure panel->mouse over on the widget you want to move->move.

There is > Plasma (KDE 4.2) FAQ
Plasma is one of the key technologies of KDE 4 (also known as the "Pillars of KDE"), and one of the most visible to users. As Plasma treats the user interface differently than a traditional desktop, there may be confusion as to what Plasma is, what it does, and how to perform common tasks.

This document attempts to address these problems by providing answers to the most common questions....
      It has among other things:

      - 2 Configuration
      - 2.3 How can I add applets to the panel?
      - 2.4 Can I move the applets on the panel?

      - 4 Troubleshooting
      - 4.2 My panel is gone, how do I get it back?

Though the previous replies seem to save you the headache of manually restoring it back.

Just in case you wanted to restore it manually, you can unlock widgets, add panel, right click panel & add widgets.

You want those in order from left to right (system default):
        1. Application Launcher Menu.
        2. Quick Access.
        3. Task Manager.
        4. Pager.
        5. Show Widget Dashboard.
        6. System Tray.
        7. Device Notifier.
        8. Network Management.
        9. Digital Clock.

        Hope it helps.
