    Change Task Bar Color??

Hi, so I installed 9.04 x64 on my macbook using vmware and didn't like the wallpaper so I installed the old Intrepid one. But....it clashes with the default light blue task bar.

How do I change the color of the taskbar to let's say the Intrepid default of black/grey

    Thanks

I use a Scheme/Theme called PerlaNegra and it allows for a transparent Task Bar, meaning it's the same colour as the wallpaper.

These options can (for me) be found in Sytem Settings/ Advanced/ Desktop Theme Details/ etc.

Going into Desktop Theme Details is a good way to tweak individual items. If all you did was install a different wallpaper you can get a translucent task bar (panel) by enabling the Translucency desktop effect. I generally don't like many desktop effects enabled but I do prefer the translucent panel. To enable it: Navigate to System Settings/Desktop/Desktop Effects and enable it. Then click the All Effects tab, under the Appearance category make sure Translucency is checked. That should get you the desired effect.
