    No Broadcom driver?

    Hi,

After some serious trouble with Plasma, I decided to re-install 9.10. When booting up, I noticed that the wireless light stayed on orange which usually means that the driver is not loaded. (And is has nothing to do with touching that light on the keyboard )
I have a Broadcom 4312 in a HP Pavilion dv6. I checked the repository but no driver shows up. I seem to remember that is was there....some time ago.
Can someone point me to it?
    Help is greatly appreciated.
    Cheers.

I've added the output of lspci and dmesg | gre b43

    Re: No Broadcom driver?

Ok, this one has been solved.
I also posted in the Ubuntu forum and got two replies
    This one is from bkratz:

    See
    https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wi...Driver/bcm43xx

about half way down in the heading
"Installing b43/STA hybrib drivers" Yes, they misspelled it!

And if that info doesn't help you this site probably will.
