Is anyone having a problem with folder sharing?
I have Kubuntu alpha 5 - 64 bit, ext4 & have installed samba. I created a folder named share. Under Properties/Share 1st box, Share this folder in the network is unchecked so I check that & midways below is another box, Share with Samba (Microsoft(R) Windows(R)) & checked that, too. Hit OK & it prompts for my password. After password window closes, Properties window closes. In XP & Ubuntu shared folders have a folder with hand icon indicating that it's a shared folder. Nothing like that here. Open Properties/Share again & nothing is checked!
Is anyone having a similar problem with folder sharing? Could someone try this & see if you're having the same issue.
