    Medibuntu repository don't work

    Hi, I am trying to install Opera, Skype and WICD and adept is not finding these packages.

    How can I find out, if i installed the Medibuntu repository correctly?

    Thanks!

    System data:

    Kubuntu 9.04 64 bits fresh install.

    Lenovo N3000 laptop

    After you added the Medibuntu to the sources there should be packages with the Medibuntu information.

    With the aptitude:
    Code:
    aptitude search ~mMedibuntu
    p aacgain - Lossless mp4 normalizer with statistical analysis
    p aacplusenc - High-Efficency AAC (AAC+) Encoder
    p acroread-fonts - Fonts for Acrobat reader - Medibuntu package
    p alsa-firmware - Contains firmware for ALSA devices - Medibuntu package
    ...
    ~m = Maintainer


    > Medibuntu >> Binary packages available in jaunty


    You could install Opera from > http://www.opera.com/ or > http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/.

    The > http://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/ will offer more options.

    Old (is this still valid ?) > https://help.ubuntu.com/community/OperaBrowser

      wicd is in universe, not Medibuntu. Package names are case-sensitive.
