    weird error message

The last 2 security updates D/L'd jusst fine and appear to have installed and then I get an erroe message that goes

The backend took too much time to process the synchronous request - you need to fork!
    What does this mean?
    root@americanrepublic:~$ apt-get install freedom<a href="http://ubuntucounter.geekosophical.net" title="The Ubuntu Counter Project - user number # 28196"><img src="http://ubuntucounter.geekosophical.net/img/ubuntu-blogger.php?user=28196" alt="The Ubuntu Counter Project - user number # 28196" /></a>

    Re: weird error message

Basically it means your computer was not giving enough resources to this particular application.
Or the other way around, your computer was at this time too busy doing other things.

Just today I had the same message because at the time I had par2 restoring some files and this took nearly all available power.
