    Audio Drivers

    I have just built myself a new pc which has a MA790FXT-UD5P motherboard with a dolby surround system that came with realtek drivers on the motherboard disk. I am getting the system sounds ok on startup but my sound for skype and amarok isnt working

    In the FAQs in my signature is a link to the Ubuntu multimedia guide -- #9. Follow that carefully and completely, and then do a shutdown and reboot, and try your packages again. Post back if there are still problems.
