    choppy video in fullscreen

i've been searching and googling all over and can't find a fix. I see there is something to do with UXA vs EXA in 9.04. I can't seem to get this:

    http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1130582

tutorial to work with my machine. I think it has something to do with being a kde wm vs gnome.

when I type this code to create a xorg.conf file

    sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xorg-xserver

it says xorg-xserver is not installed and no info is available

    any help?

    Hi

I have my eeepc using the help from that thread (using the kernel from karmic)

Right now, the easiest thing seems to be to enabled the Proposed Updates repository, and install the latest kernel from there; people have been saying that this fixed their issues with intel graphics

If you need help for that, there is a long bug report in launchpad, if you google youll find it soon; some explains there how to use the kernel from Proposed, but really is simple enough you may not need any help
