    Acer 5520 laptop AMD 64

Juanty installs, boots, wireless works, nvidia drivers install and works. Over all it rocks, kicks ass, and yada, yada, yada.

Only problem................there is a slot on the side that you can insert, sd, xd cards into. Prior to replacing vista this is where I put the camera memory (xd pic card) to D/L pics. Now this doesn't work and I was hoping that someone could pointme in the right direction.

    Thanks

On my Asus Eee PC, that slot is actually a USB port, even though it takes a SD or SDHC card.

So, you can probably learn more with
    Code:
    lspci
    and
    Code:
    lsusb
    and maybe even
    Code:
    lshw
(but you might need to apt-get install it).
