[answered] Hard disk mirroring in k/ubuntu?

Is there an equivalent to Netware's hard disk mirroring function available in k/ubuntu? I am specifically referring to real-time mirroring of disks (or partitions), and not something that gets run periodically. This is a software system that simultaneously writes and reads two separate disks (or partitions) as a hedge against disk failure; it is not a "backup" process. I haven't been able to find anything like it so far.

Have you looked at using md to create a raid1?
    # make install --not-war

Thanks for the tip. Looks like RAID1 may be what I want.
