    RESOLUTION HELP!

    Hello all,

I just installed Kubuntu 9.04, using the "SAFE GRAPHICS MODE" Install option.

When I restarted the pc, Kubuntu started up in safe graphics mode still... I tried to change the resolution settings but all I am getting as an option is my current resolution, 640x480.

How can I change the resolution now? Please don't tell me I have to re-install.

PS, I know my PC is capable of high-res, as I ran the disk live multiple times in such.

    Love Kubuntu, by the way!

What graphics card do you have?

Have you looked in K, applications, system, hardware drivers to see if there are any proprietary drivers available for you? The system may just need you to enable it.
