I just installed the new version, and there is no audio on websites like Youtube, but I can get it from an audio player. I saw the other post from someone else, but that didn't help. I'm thinking that the problem is from pulse audio, because when I test it through Computer>System Settings>Multimedia there is no sound at all.

Re: No flash audio
I think that this is just common sense. I read a story about someone getting permanent hearing damage because she was using earphones when she opened a video file that was recorded with an unusually high volume level. She was used to have the volume levels adjusted to their music collection, on average recorded on a much lower volume level. The few seconds that she took to lower the volume were enough.Originally posted by kwokyincCan't help wonder why they set the volume to zero by default
?
So the most sensible thing when setting up from scratch the system configuration is to lower the volume at minimum. Not sure if the developers took this decision based on health/safety concerns, however.
