    How to downgrade to 180.29??

Hey, I have read a few posts about nvidia 180.35 drivers problems, but sadly, too late, so I was wondering how to downgrade to 180.29? I have no packages in cache, because I formated my ext3 to ext4 , is there a link where to download *.deb packages? Or a repository that contains 180.29 or 180.11 would be ok, too.

I think you can get to the 177 versions with
    sudo aptitude install nvidia-177-kernel-source nvidia-glx-177

I was mistaken. 177 kernel source does not appear to be available but 173 is so
      sudo aptitude install nvidia-173-kernel-source nvidia-glx-173
will probably get you working until newer ones become available.

Thnx for the reply, but I have tried that, 173 are too outdated for my card (GF9400GT) even 177 had issues with KDE4, so KDE performance is very bad, I need something above 180, only then my card works well with KDE4.
So, I guess there is no other solution than to wait for a fix from Nvidia?

You can get the 1.80.29 install file right from the nvidia site.

          64 Bit: http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d...64_180.29.html
          32 Bit: http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d...32_180.29.html

just download and run the script

          Sun Microsystems Ultra 20<br />Dual Core AMD64 Opteron 1.8Ghz /4GB Ram /Nvidia GeForce 7200 GS<br />Kubuntu 9.04 Jaunty w/ KDE4.2.1 64 Bit
