Fox news channel has a new video player, has anyone been able to get it to work on Kubuntu?? They say it works windows and mac, sure would be nice if someone could port this to Kubuntu, as many of us would use it (especially me- I like 24) thanks

Fox video is not available outside of the US so I can't check it.
But there is a strong indication (no surprise) Fox is cosily in bed with Microsoft and they moved to Silverlight for video.
The Linux version called Moonlight is not ready.
The good news is that a very large sports broadcaster via the net has just returned from Silverlight to Flash. -

I would suggest trying Hulu, they do have 24 episodes, and it is flash-based so it works in Firefox very well
