Installed firefox from apt and well it works fine - perhaps abit slower than my previous normal ubuntu install but yeah. Only issue is graphically the tab bar looks abit skewed anyone else observe a similar issue or is it just the way it is on KDE, fixes anyone?

 Re: Firefox tab bar splitting

I just uploaded a screenshot to the gallery that shows what it looks like on my screen -- I don't really see anything skewed:

 Re: Firefox tab bar splitting

 hi wintesa,

Are you referring to the slight "overlap" of the tabs at the edges? I also see this in dibl's screenshot.

If so, the fix I did was to install gtk-engines. Then in:

systemsettings > appearance > GTK Styles and Fonts > GTK Styles

there will be a selection of styles in "Use another style".

The one I *personally* use is Industrial. IMHO, it's quite clean and crisp. Also, the "overlap" effect only seems to be noticeable if you are using the Oxygen widgit style. If you choose another widgit style (eg, plastique) then the FF tabs will appear more normal without needing to change the GTK Style.Confucius says: If you enjoy your work, then you never have to work another day in your life.
