How can I change the order of the favourites in the new KDE menu?

They are stored in ~/.kde/share/config/kickoffrc

But editing that file doesn't seem to change things, even after logging out/in...

If you make the file permissions 'read only' and then restart it does work

Although you have to restore the permissions for any new changes to to be written.
